April 25, 2014 (Friday). The Russian moderators was: the President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs A.N. Shokhin and the head of the Representative of Savings Bank in Germany V. P. Matveev. Speakers analysed the advanced world experience implementation of investment programs. Especial attention was paid to their innovative focus on the development of business infrastructure. Russian colleagues introduced European partners on those factors that currently allow one to create a comfortable investment climate for investment mobilization ‘long money’ through a system of private pension funds, the creation of special economic zones, public-private partnerships, etc. April 26, 2014 (Saturday) The second day of the Forum was held in Strasbourg at the Council of Europe. On this occasion there was a presentation of Russian regions and innovative programs at which opportunity to award prizes based on a rating system. These competing regions included Nizhny Novgorod, Tula and Kaluga regions, Tatarstan and other regions. Russia’s erudite colleagues addressed topics such as applied marketing strategies. Those focused on promoting regions and providing information for the support of investment programs for small and medium-sized businesses. At this event attendees expected to hear discussion on a number of promising projects. The Russian moderators were Regional Development Minister I.N. Slyunyaev and President of the National Agency for Direct Investment I.A. Vdovin.
April 27, 2014 (Sunday). On the third day of the Forum (Baden-Baden, Kurhaus) was held three parallel thematic sessions. First session: Financial education of the general public and the problems related to standardisation and certification of professional activity.
Moderators: Vice President - Executive Director of the International Guild of Financiers V.A. Kornilov, and Director of the Institute of short-term programs of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, President of the National Association of Credit Brokers D.K. Mashtakeeva. Speakers’ strategy was to share the experiences of large-scale all-Russian shares at financial literacy, and especially those relating to young people. To create a national system of qualifications and competences. The development of standards and certification in the financial sector. In addition the formation of a trans-national program based on universal standards. Discussion of these issues together with our European colleagues were very useful. The second session discussed Health Insurance in the context of globalization: Challenges and Prospects aims discussed the most pressing problems and prospects of the health insurance system. Moderators: Deputy Minister of Health A.Z. Farrakhov, Academician of the RAMS. President of the first Russia's accreditation by Joint Commission International (JCI) ‘Medicine’ clinic, G.E. Roytberg. This section will be attended by leading experts in the field of health insurance. Also present were representatives of leading Russian and international business companies and foundations. Heads of several research institutes have strong links with hospitals in Germany and Switzerland. Their effective cooperation has brought significant contributions to the science and practice skills of medicine. During the third session of Investing in the Future: ‘Art-Invest, Charity and Philanthropy Need of the Hour’ participants debated ways and means required to improve the mechanisms of patronage and investment in the arts. Under discussion the prospect of creating art in Russian banking industry and the formation of a system of professional training in the field of attribution and evaluation of historical and cultural values. This section was attended by major business organizations, international charities and prominent figures in the eclectic world of culture and art with leading experts and art dealers. German, Swiss and French companies were invited to participate in the Forum as were various Western associates who have an interest in attracting Russian business and partners. This opportunity has worked well for all parties in the past.

Morning session completed: Long-term investment policy in a global economy to ensure its economic sustainability. 1. Advanced world experience implementing investment programs (projects). 2. Innovative nature of the investment policy. 3. Investments into the infrastructure business. 4. Environmental and social responsibility of business. 5. Institutions supporting the development and implementation of business - investment projects. By protecting investors and investment funds. Afternoon session completed: Factors forming a comfortable investment climate. 1. Retirement (long money) mezzanine and venture capital (high-risk) funds as sources of investment projects. 2. Tax regulation as a catalyst for innovation. 3. Public–private partnership (PPP) - effective form of interaction between government and business. 4. Placement of special economic zones in the promotion of innovative projects. 5. Investment support for small and medium businesses.
DAY TWO: April 26, 2014 (Strasbourg) Round table / conference forum in the Council of Europe Morning session completed: Forming an investment brand territory. 1. Marketing strategies to promote areas: international experience and development problems. 2. Criteria for investment attractiveness of Russian regions: a view of European business . 3. Using territorial marketing for business infrastructure development. 4. Information support of investment programs. Investment ratings of regions. Afternoon session completed: Presentation of the regions of Russia and achievement of high investment brand: 1) The Ulyanovsk region 2) Samara region 3) Tula region 4) Tambov region 5) Nizhny Novgorod region 6) Rostov region 7) The Republic of Tatarstan 8) Altai Territory 9) Moscow region
DAY THREE April 27, 2014 (Baden-Baden). (Round Hall, Conference Hall) Morning breakout sessions completed Section number 1. 1. Financial education of citizens and mobilizing people's money. 2. Educational training programs for investment teams. Section number 2. Health insurance in the context of globalisation: challenges and prospects. Section number 3. Charity and philanthropy- imperative. Investing in the Future: Investing in art, in education, children's creativity, museums, libraries and monuments.
EVENTS CULTURAL PROGRAM FORUM 2014
April 25 to April 30, 2014 in Germany, France, Switzerland and Luxembourg were held at the cultural and business forum ‘Days of Russia in Europe’. The cultural program of the Forum ‘Days of Russia in Europe’ were held at the III Festival ‘Days of Russian Culture’. These represented the best examples of the various genre of Russian culture.
April 25, 2014 (Friday) at 18:30 Baden-Baden (Germany). This highly acclaimed Gala Evening occasion was held in the famous Kurhaus Baden- Baden. There was a reception in honour of the opening of Cultural and Business Forum ‘Days of Russia in Europe’. Guests at this unique and exceptional gala concert included members of the internationally celebrated Boris Eifman Ballet Theatre with program: ‘Favourites and Only for You!’ There were fragments of the best considered productions over the years.
April 25, 2014 (Saturday) at 19.00, Strasbourg (France). Guests and participants of the Forum were present to experience its unique program including the Russian Chamber Orchestra ‘Moscow Virtuosi’ under the baton of Vladimir Spivakov. The concert was scheduled to participate in the world tour of musicians to honour the 35th anniversary of the ‘Moscow Virtuosi’ Orchestra.

The grand concert Igor Butman and Moscow State Jazz Orchestra was performed at the famous Baden-Baden Kurhaus Concert Hall. Listeners as always attended a packed program that included masterpieces of jazz and original compositions.

29 - 30 April 2014 (Tuesday and Wednesday) at 19.00, Baden-Baden (Germany). For the first time in the last 12 years there took place an exceptional European tour of the ‘Sovremennik’ Theatre. The standing of artistic director of Theatre, Galina Volchek is unsurpassed. For the pleasure of the Forum Theatre’s esteemed guests and participants there were presented two legendary cult performances. These as predicted were to to melt hearts and continue to hold their relevance today. One looked forward to ‘Five Evenings’ by A.M. Volodin and ‘The Cherry Orchard’ by Anton Chekhov. On the stage shone renowned artistes, Marina Neyolova, Valentin Gaft, Yevgeniya Simonova, Sergei Garmash, Olga Drozdova, and others. Additional events Forum The third Business and Cultural Forum and Festival ‘Days of Russian Culture’ of 2014 was held in Baden-Baden and varied German cities. These included Berlin, Wiesbaden, Braunschweig, Bremen, Düsseldorf, Nuremberg, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich, Stuttgart and Mulheim. Also included France (Strasbourg), Switzerland (Bern) and Luxembourg. Here and at other venues an opportunity to engage with Russian culture aimed at introducing non-Russian audiences to the rich cultural history of our country. In addition were film screenings and various meetings with well-known figures of cinema and theatre. Also included an art and photograph exhibitions, professional presentations, and special programs for children and youth audiences. The Forum included a gala concert of Russian music held in the European Parliament in Strasbourg. April 27, 2014 was an opening of the monument to great writer Anton Chekhov in Badenweiler, Germany. This is where the celebrated Russian writer spent the last days of his life. For this event we offer thanks to sculptor Sergey Isakov, Honoured Artist of Russia and member of the Academy of Arts. The planning, creation and installation of this gift to the City of Badenweiler is financed by Russian patrons.
The III Festival ‘Days of Russian Culture’ is a large-scale project. It secured for itself the roles of being the largest cultural and educational activities that already enrich the cordial relationship between Russia and Europe. These are becoming an integral part of cultural and business Forum ‘Days of Russia in Europe’. This year the events brought together the business elite of Russia and Europe. Included were prominent figures in the spheres of culture, science, and the diplomatic corps. These focused on the development of relationships between nations and enrich international cooperation in all spheres.
We invite German, Swiss and French companies to participate in the Forum as we do various Western associates who have an interest in attracting Russian business and partners. This opportunity has worked well for all parties in the past.
